Gold Recovery Process Using Ammonium Thiosulfate Leaching Solution and Silicon Powder

For securing noble metal resources, recovery of metals from urban mines is a key technology. Recently, ammonium thiosulfate solution has attracted attention as safe and low-cost for gold leaching. We previously reported process using electroless displacement deposition onto silicon powder. In this study, we tried to use powder recover an leaching solution. experimentation, added simulated containing 1 mM(M: mol dm-3)sodium gold(I)sulfite copper(II)sulfate(oxidizing agent dissolution). the cases that copper(II)sulfate concentration was 5 mM or higher, not recovered even after 24 h treatment. However, successfully in 3 by decreasing 2 less. also changing pH 10 13 copper(II)sulfate.
